Micah Smith ~ one of Aspen’s hard-working painters and home repairmen.
If you need a guy who can help you with your general home repair needs in the Roaring Fork Valley, then Micah’s your guy. You’ll find his profile here on HireMeAspen.com.
He was trained in the Painters Union at the Collbran Job Corps in NYC. After graduating in 1998, he immediately joined the Local #9 in Manhattan, where he finished his apprenticeship in two years (not including the two years of pre-apprenticeship). The Painters Union is the largest union comprised of all the “finishing” trades: painting, plaster, Faux and marbling, Glazing (glass), Tile, Carpet, and Auto Body Finishing.
Located in Glenwood Springs, his specialities include: Interior Painting, Siding, Stucco, General Home Repair Services, Drywall, Wallpaper, Exterior Painting, Mold, Electrical, Bartender, Set Up/Breakdown for events.
In addition to the skills listed above related to the finishing trades, I also have knowledge and experience in other fields.
He has previously worked at The Russian Tea room, The Roxy, Sound Factory, The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers in New York City. I also was a waiter at The Margarita Grill in Snowmass, and a bartender (including liquor sales) at The Vineyard Wine and Fine Dining in Grand Junction.
