“My goal was to create a place where the hard-working locals can showcase their talents and expertise in a professional, yet fun and laid-back way,” says Hammond.  “I believe the side job is becoming the new 401k.” offer hirers an added sense of comfort because of the detailed information displayed in each worker profile.  Members can include details about themselves and their work history, set rates and availability, and list a variety of credentials on their profiles.  To ensure the quality of workers in the database, each profiled member can get rated and recommended by friends, colleagues and most importantly, hirers.

Additionally, profiled workers can connect with their friends and colleagues, join a crew, upload work photos and link out to their website or other personalized social media sites.

The fee to post a profile and be included in the database of workers is $5 per month based on an annual membership. “When you think about it,” says Mary Tanguay, a profiled member and hirer, “that’s only the cost of one glass of wine at a restaurant!  It’s really an economical way to market your services and make some extra money.”   Hiring a worker and posting jobs on is free. also offers a referral program where workers can earn a gift card to either Target, Costco or City Market when they refer a friend who signs up for an annual paid membership.

Profiled members also save money with our Partner Program.
